Does anyone have some good tips for cycling Tweeters?
My current favourites:
  • @vaughters - JV himself. Lots of useful info, answers difficult questions and doesn't suffer fools.
  • @Dimspace - Sky fan but not blinkered. Knows a lot and has good contacts
  • @inrng - him off that Inner Ring Blog (essential reading). Great knowledge and analysis.
  • @theraceradio - man of mystery but seems to have inside track on lots of stuff related to Lance
  • @nyvelocity - the chaps behind Toto. Know a lot and pull lots of people together. Tend to play devils advocate, which can be fun/annoying
  • @Tweetersagan - just hilarious. Sure the joke will wear thin by the end of the Tour, but until then...
  • @ssbike - Shane Stokes. Irish cycling journo.
  • @millarmind - not prolific, but interesting
Loads of other people worth noticing, usually by spotting Tweets on the timelines of the above.

Yours...?

Do you need to sign up to see these tweets. I have no twit account?

I've got an account but I don't tweet, I just use it to follow people. Oh, that sounds wrong.

road.cc's twitter feed is good for news updates, and Cav is worth following too. He tweeted this pic of himself and Rob Hayles about to go for a training ride:

Another good one: @scienceofsport. Actual science, proper number crunching and some reassuring conclusions that the bad old days of the 90s and early 00s are behind us.

I don't follow anybody, occasionally i look on Twitter via the internet, Cavendish and Millarmind are good especially during the tours. You just have to ignore some of Cav's product placement (who would have thought that a Nike hoody could be sooooooooo comfortable !).
