Hi
I'm due to collect my bike this coming Thursday a Scott P3 and can't wait.
I have purchased a jacket that's shower/rain proof by Altura which wasn't cheap. Now the problem I face is finding cycling trousers that will fit me as I'm a big chap around the 18stone mark and trying to find trousers that will fit me is a problem. Quite a few sites I've visited list XXL size but only go upto 42in (106cm) I must be around the 43 - 44 in size. I plan on riding around the moors and hills of the north west and Wales so I need good winter windproof/waterproof trousers.
Any advice would be welcome.
Regards
Mark

I am a tad under 19 stone and have the same problem as you finding trousers. I have given up with cycling specific clothing as much of it is so overpriced assuming you can find some that fits.

Karimoor do some decent kit, shorts, tights and tops. Their waterproof jackets are not very breathable though, but their softshell jackets do me well. Take a look at Sports Direct

If you can't find what you're looking for just get some good quality comfortable outdoor walking trousers, the advantage is you'll have pockets. you can get them with elasticated legs. You don't need to wear cycling trousers to enjoy cycling.

Hi
Thanks for all the advice as I have now managed to purchase a waterproof pair of trousers along with apair for general riding in the dry.
It would seem looking at all the stores that the size I require are either popular or they don't seem to carry much stock for larger people as most didn't have my size in stock. I wouldn't mind but I've already lost 2.5 stone in weight and shudder to think trying to find a size that would fit me back then.
Thanks
