I am looking for the best cycling socks!? Nothing to crazy just nice and plain? What's out there?

What budget did you have in mind? I don’t want to put my foot in it by recommending the wrong socks. And are you after hot or cold weather wear?

There's no such thing as 'the best cycling socks', or the best anything for that matter. It's all down to what's right for you, and what's actually available in the shops/online. I'm afraid you're going to have to make up your own mind. I don't think you'll suffer too much if you just buy what you like.

Why buy 'cycling socks' - ?
I've always done quite happily with ordinary socks of the various types & options in my sock drawer - !

Planet X and banana industries both do decent cycling socks at good prices . And the occasional merino socks at great prices.

Was going to say Pongo but a quick Google suggests they have gone out of business.

Madison do some 3 packs that are decent quality.

DeFeet are generally good.

TBH Rapha Pro Team take some beating.
