Cycling into work...

Cycled into work today...

As i'm trying to increase my conditoning...

Anyhow; 1 thing ive noticed is that some are 'aware' of the gear clothes/bike and I feel with it being different and the fact i'm not getting into a motor go go home freaks them a bit...know what I mean !

They'll get used to it pretty quick. Mind you I'm only just coming to terms with some of the jokers in the office putting on sunglasses when they see my hi-vis jacket (shame some car drivers can't see it but that's another story).

I think i am really lucky in this, the guy I work with rides to work, my direct boss rides to work, his boss rides to work! We have a little room at the side of the office and it is not unusual to see 6 or 7 bikes in there when I am on the early shift, which out of a staff of 12 is not bad. It puts a different light on the car/bike argument when there are more riders than drivers in the office!

Good on you yenrod! I have been off the bike for five weeks and returned to the fray on Monday - it's nice. Wet but nice. (Now, I'm just popping into work to move some stuff while it's quiet - I must be mad...but I'm going on four wheels)
