I am heading up to my parents in the Cotswolds over the weekend with the road bike in the boot and want to do a couple of rides. I've ordered a book and have been looking at http://www.cycle-route.com/ . Most of the routes around where they live are 40-50 miles which is far too far (I've only done 17 miles in total on this bike so far lol). So, I'll likely just do half routes, I'll probably have 3-4 hours on each day.

They live between Burford and Lechlade not too far from Carterton, so if any one has any tips, great.

If anyone fancies a slow leisurely ride in the country on Saturday or Sunday, even better

Many thanks to Trev and Gemma for a smashing ride this morning. My computer read just shy of 42 miles, so you guys must have broken the half ton :becool:

I am not sure I will ever walk again, everything is pretty sore and stiff!

You are very welcome, Gemma and I really enjoyed our ride out with you today. We ended up doing bang on 60 miles and with about 3 to Gemma had a lapse of judgement hit the grassverge and fell off, luckyshe had a nice soft landing on the grass

I hope you enjoyed yourself and we wernt to.hard / fast for you, Hopefully yoi will come ouy with us again when you are this way
