Cycling companions

I'm 23 and I'm looking for cycling companions in the Crewe Nantwich area. My bike is a 5 year old hybrid and I like to cycle on roads but my bike can just about handle good- condition off road tracks. I'm quite fit but I still always get taken over by the dude in lycra every morning on the way to work. If there are any people interested in going out on rides in the Crewe/ Nantwich area please let me know

Try Hairy Jocks suggestion - there's not much organised in that area it seems but you could post in there to see if you can get some interest going yourself, it's worked for other folk.

If you organise a CC ride in that bit of the world I may come along, it's an area I want to explore. Slow person on a hybrid in their 20s, that's me too .

There's lots of lovely stuff around there - I turned the other way going out of the house on my Sunday ride last week, and found some hills

What sort of distances are you thinking of? I can suggest some pleasant routes around Haslington/Sandbach, if that's any good.

Although I've not ridden there (yet) the area around Wrenbury looks really nice.

Edit: I'm usually out and about on Sundays, but time pressure means I ride pretty early (aim to be out at 7/7:30am, back by 10 or shortly after at latest) which probably doesn't suit most people's schedules...
