Hello to everyone
I'm still fairly new to cycling and carry far more weight than i ought to. I ride a hybrid bike which i am very pleased with. I commute to work 9 mile round trip twice a week (well up until the frosty spell) and try and get out on my days off.
Presently i cycle on my own as i have scoured the local paper and internet for a cycling club to join but no luck.
I have looked at north cheshire clarion but they seemed to think i should work on my fitness before attempting their rides which is probably fair( i can manage 25 miles in two hours). Ideally i would like a club local to me that doesn't take the pace of the ride too seriously.
I live in Warrington.
Any advice would be appreciated

There are cycling clubs and cycling clubs. Some only cater for long rides at speed others have slower sections who may well suit your fitness level. Contact the local CTC leader and ask what they do or try looking on this http://www.warrington.gov.uk/communityandliving/walkingandcycling/Warrington_Cycle_Forum.aspx
for rides.

Thanks for the reply, i have mailed the ctc for information, just awaiting their reply. Didn't see any relevant information on the link you posted. I have visited that page before actually as it is the local council for me.
Cheers
