I think it is Observer sport magazine. I agree, a fascinating article and great to see ands wonderful photos. It is only a matter of time before we see African teams and riders becoming a dominant force in world cycle racing as they have in athletics.

Then I thought, what if, say, 100 people on Cyclechat put in an average £5 a month standing order, we could be an official sponsor of the team and help African cycling...

Well, that's an average - if some people put in more, we might manage with fewer - I am happy to put in a lot more as it happens... let's just see how much we might get. I'll ask Shaun to put a general notice and appeal up and try to contact the team to see how we might be able to contribute.
