You're walking along minding your own business when WHAM!!! You're laying on the floor in agony clutching your foot in indescribable pain.

Foot pain is in a league of its own, as torturers from the ancient Chinese to the Nazzies well knew and exploited to eye watering effect.

But even they missed a few tricks, and I'm sure there is far worse out there.

So which of these things is the most painful should one indavertantly stand upon one?

A few years back I was at a beach here, messing around in some shallow water, and put my hand down on a sea urchin. Twenty three of the spikes were in my hand, and as painful as it was, could have been worse if I'd trodden on it. This was of little compensation at the time.

Not the standard sea urchin we get here I suspect. They have spikes but they break easily.

Having never stood on a land mine, so am unable to compare, I’d have to say 3 pin plug. Lego is merely a minor irritation in comparison.

Tough call between Lego and a plug, I went with Lego as that's happened more recently.

Not a bad shout, although I reckon the crunch you get with a snail is worse!
