Cycle wall hanger... Do they damage wheels?

Trying to make the wife happy so bought a wall hanger for the bike...

Just a little worried if it will damage the wheels on my bike as they are so skinny...

Does anyone have any advice?

The bike weighs say 10kg on its own, do they get damaged when you add say another 65kg ? The answer is no, they do not.

Mount it high enough for the bike to fit - hangers at work are too low for my large bike and I cannot use.

I love the user review on the Halfords site where it talks about mounting the bike perpendicular to the wall, rather than parallel to it.

I've used a similar style.
Pay attention to how you fix it to the wall.
A regular rawlplug will not do.
You need a proper expansion bolt, at least for the top hole.

I used to load my wheels with an extra 108 kg and then thunder down Yorkshire hills at over 80 kph on them, so I would be perfectly happy to hang the bike by them!

I've got 8 of those Halford ones, with a variety of wheel and tyre sizes in them, they're fine. The only damage I'm likely to do is to a valve which always seems to rotate so it's in the way of putting it on the hangar. There must be a law I know nothing about.

That one isn't working around the hangars which exist in their own quantum universe, in which the valves spin in any direction to foul the hanger.
