I have made arrangements to fly back to the UK on 25 August for My LEJOG. I'm beginning to realise how much this is going to cost me
Does anyone have experience of what kind of transport bags the airlines require. I am using BMIBaby, but they are not very specific. I was hoping that I could get a simple light weight bag that the bike would just fit in with the pedals off and the handlebars turned (with some bubble wrap), but the ones here seem to have separate compartments and weight 3-4 kilos.
I have an 18 kilo allowance and the bike weighs 16 kilos.
I'd appreciate thoughts, as ever way I turn another barrier seems to be thrown up
