Cycle to work scheme (again)

Does anyone know if this is checked by any authorities?

I have a friend who has no wish to have a bicycle but was encouraged by her work to get a bike as they are part of the scheme. I was going to ask her if she would get a bike and then 'loan' it to me until it becomes hers at which point she would sell it to me. ;-)

Just wondered if anyone goes through the paperwork though - as although I could give it back to her if she was ever asked to produce it, it would be a totally inappropriate frame size for her!

So, has anyone ever had any queries on this?

As per the T&C she only has to use it to commute more than use it for non commutes.
So if she rode 1/2 mile to work and never used it again it's technically within their remit.


i doubt anyone will check though as everyone benefits one way or the other
