just some quick quesions.

finally getting my boardman road comp tomorrow, yay :bicycle:

what accessories can you buy. the website for my scheme has a quick list.

Code:
cycle helmets which conform to European standard EN 1078
bells
bulb horns
lights including dynamo packs
mirrors and mudguards to ensure the riders visibility is not impaired
cycle clips
dress guards
panniers
luggage carriers and straps to ensure luggage is carried safely
locks and chains to ensure cycle can be safely secured
pumps
puncture repair kits, tool kits and tyre sealant to allow for minor repairs
reflective clothing
white front reflectors and spoke reflectors
child seats

just wondering whether i could buy any of the following on the ctw voucher;
if you have any experience with the scheme please let me know if you managed to get any of the above with the voucher, i've got about £120 for accessories, which equates to £144 as halfords have 20% off all accessories. definately gonna get me some decent locks, and lights.

Don't know about all of them, but the following are definitely a yes as I bought them a week or two ago on the c2w from halfords...
Helmet
Lock
Lock extender
Track pump
Mini pump
Water bottle
Water bottle holder
Saddle bag
Mud guards.

Could also of got puncture repair kit but worth pointing out tools aren't in the halfords 3 for 2.
Don't think the staff were too fussed by the restrictions imposed by the c2w scheme, so long as the total added IP to the allowance value.

I know for a fact that any accessories bought through the scheme is limited to 'safety equipment' but that can vary, I notice the halfords scheme includes child seats while other schemes I have dealt with have not accepted them.
Because its their own scheme they don't need to present the details of the sale to a third party for authorisation and payment, therefore they can be more creative. Its common at halfords to provide all clothing, spares, computers etc under their scheme but maybe not bike covers or hydration packs.
IMO if you make your selection regardless of the list you will probably have little problem at the checkout.

duty manager there told me it doesn't include computers and they just scan the item and see if it accepts it
