Cycle to work help....

Dear All
Buying a bike on the C2W via Halfords. Its a Dawes bike that they don't normally sell but were able to get in next day.

Question is - as a member of British Cycling, I'm entitled to a 10% discount from Halfords - I know this is true for C2W also, but does any one know if they'll honour it with a bike sourced from outside Halfords like this?

Not sure if discounts are applicable to cycle scheme or equivalent.
Best ask Halfords directly

This is what BC says on the benefits area.

Members of British Cycling can save 10% off everything at Halfords (excluding gift vouchers) to spend on any products in store, including sale items.
Halfords is the UK's leading bike retailer with over 400 stores across the UK.
How to get your discount:
You need to print off the below voucher and take it into your local Halfords store. You will need to take your British Cycling membership card with you to validate the voucher.
The Halfords discount is only available in store. You can reserve products online and collect in store with your printed voucher.

Now, whether Halfords will honour that with getting a bike in, i dont know.
My feeling would be no on the Dawes though as it is a special order.

Special order bikes not usually sold by Halfords used to be sold at full price on C2W but I haven`t checked for a couple of years

You do not get BC discount on any halfords C2W bike according to the staff , i just tried myslef as its something to do with combining discounts /schemes which you cant do.
