I have been told the cycle to work scheme is about to happen at the hospital I work
In readiness I am looking at what bike. The Condor Heritage is really standing out for me right now. Has anyone bought from Condor, own a Heritage or can recomend an alternative.
Thanks in advance

Ps Is the Condor 'fitting service' worth the money I am sure they must charge for it ?

Personally I for commuting I would go for a bike based on an MTB. My Koga Miyata World Traveller is superb because of the brakes being under my fingers at all times, and the brakes are massively better than drop bar brakes

I have thought about and tried mtb/hybrid type bikes.
But tbh I just can not get on with the upright position.

Find out who your Hospital's going to run the scheme through before you make any firm choices. Our scheme (Bikes for the NHS) couldn't get anything very exotic - basically if Tredz didn't have it on the books, you weren't getting it.

???

are you sitting on a too large mtb frame perchance?

just been d'stairs to measure distance between top of saddle and bars and it is about the same 6-8 inches on both my road and mtb. the road allows you to get lower due to the drop dwon bars but neither is upright.

frame size of mtb you should try is inner leg less 6 to 18 inches.
