Cycle Marshals Needed.

The WtW needs cyclists to help marshal the event. See below.

Volunteer Cyclists Needed!

We are doing a call to action for any cyclists who can support us at our 25th Anniversary MoonWalk London. Taking place on Saturday 20th (overnight) and Sunday 21st May (in the morning) starting at Clapham Common.
On average you will need to be able to cycle up to 20-30 miles during the event.
All Cycling Marshals must provide their own bike, helmet, lights, and lock.
What do Cyclists do?
Common duties in this role include, but are not limited to:
o Acting as a rapid response to zones in need of extra help (e.g. busy walker traffic)
o Support and encouragement to Walkers
o Front and Back Markers for both the Full Moon and Half Moon
o Providing additional support to Route Marshals

Bumholes. I'd have done the London one but I'm gigging that weekend. Mrs D and Daughter #3 are actually doing the moonwalk.

I’m surprised you don’t know about the volunteering it if you’re family are participating in the event.

Mrs D does it every year and I pay little attention if I'm honest. I've marshal'd race for life a couple of times.
