We have hired bikes before when staying at Puerto Del Carmen, this year we are at Playa Blanca and wondered if any of you lovely people had ever found a good hire place there?
Cycle hire in Lanzarote?

Just back from Costa Teguise lastg week and there were a few there so i'd guess you'll be fine.. Hired a 6 seater we did lol, but they did real bikes too. HTH

oh yes, we saw those last year - unfortunately we are about an hour from Costa Teguise. Thanks anyway!

stayed in playa blanca this year at the lanzarote princess - whilst looking for a bike hire place i found a pub where they sold pints of speckled hen - and didnt get any further - however there is a bike hire shop two roads off the front in the old town - dont forget the pub - its on the front

A quick Google turned up THIS place.
FWIW I stayed near Puerto del Carmen a couple of years ago, but I took my own bike. Never the less, I can recommend PRO BIKE in La Santa as an LBS. Granted it's not exactly convenient from Playa Blanca, but the island is only small so nothing is really that far away.
Warning, riding out of La Santa back to Play Blanca via Mancha Blanca and Yaiza will involve an 8km climb
The riding is fantastic though, the roads are far better than ours, and the drivers give you loads of room. They're used to cyclists from the Ironman and also a fair few pro teams use the island for winter training
The only thing to watch for is the volcanic aggregate they use, it's sharp as hell and eats tyres for breakfast
