I managed to break my Lidl computer on Tuesday. I tried walking my bike down a ridiculously steep slope, slipped and damaged the wire between the cradle and the sensor. So I bought an Aldi one today to replace it (no expense spared!) and found that the old computer works fine with the new fitting.

So is there a "standard" fitting that computers use, or is it just that the Aldi and Lidl ones are made by the same company?

But it would be a great idea if there were a standard fitting, wouldn't it?

Aldi / Lidl use similar fittings to sigma, but I note the new Aldi computer uses a different fitting to the one they sold a 2/3 years ago !

True - I also found the new Aldi computers less 'intuitive' than the old ones. Still, at £4.99 they do the job!
