Cycle 'buddy'

Well, I know I will definitely get out for a proper ride at some point this week as my son (19) returns from 6 months away - he's been at his sisters in Windsor, babysitting his two nephews while she worked her last 6 months in the Army.
He's very keen to get out cycling with me, so as my bike is all set up now, and his gets a new tube tomorrow, there's no excuse!

Kind of dreading it and looking forward to it, all at the same time!

My teenage daughter has only recently taken an interest in cycling with me. They are the shortest rides I've done in a long time but I love them, we have a great time.

Don't do the same as I did: chatting, chatting ... fell into a ditch bike on top of me

Btw, folks that keep moaning from behind about how they cannot do hills while I'm puffing up one should shut up: if you have enough breath to chat, you have enough breath to ride up!

Haha not done that yet give it time though I'll probably ride into a parked car knowing me!!
The hill thing is true !! Don't even try talking to me up hills you wouldn't even get a grunt out of me
