Hi , just getting back into cycling , On giant envy . general distance 15-25 miles per outing looking for buddy in the local are , not ready for the cycle clubs yet , enjoy the rides but not into full road seen at the moment . Bored of riding on my own looking bike buddy of similar fitness , Possible increase distances

There is a really good fun, 30 mile charity ride near Middlesbrough this weekend (10th May) that I have posted up here...

Not sure if I'm going myself yet as I'm in between nightshifts but the weather forecast is 'reasonable'.

I know you saod you arent ready for cycle clubs yet but if you are on facebook join cestria cycle club, they have a steady ride each month i think it is or every 2 weeks for new riders where a group go out and do shorter distances at a low pace, also take a look at durham city velo which do club runs of around 30 miles very good set of guys and never neave anyone behind. Im from stanley myself so just up the road and there are plenty of nice people around here.
