I have an electric bike. It was alright when I got it second hand for a while but carrying the shopping home I found the next day or so that the bike would only travel around 700 yards and the bike would cut out and as I turned it off it did it again but the worst is that when you cycle up a hill the bike assists you when pedalling not on the wrist control on the handle bars the distance is much shorter, and again when you switch off then back on the bike will go up the hill for a short distance and so on.
The battery has had a full charge the night before until the morning I take it off , I have tried to get bike shops to get it fixed and they say they don’t repair electric bikes so I’m a bit stuck at the mo and don’t know what to do next as I need the bike working.
