Cup & cone seal

I was servicing my front wheel bearings, and I've only gone and lost the seal that stops the crap getting into the ball bearings. The wheel is a Araya 713 which cam stock with my CX bike. The bearings are cup & cone with a formula cx22 hub.

Where can I get a replacement seal from? It was a compression fitting (i.e. Very tight) and my callipers measure the diameter as being 24.5mm. Can I just bung in any old rubber washer?

Your LBS may well have a collection of various used ones that might fit

Halfords ?, I think they use Formula hubs on Carrera bikes.
