Cummings goings

Steve Cummings has gone to BMC along with a good few other riders such as Gilbert and Adam Blythe. It will be a very strong team and I quite like the idea of someone leaving Sky and trying to prove themselves outside the GB environment. I guess he'll be a super-domestique with an occasional bit of freedom given the number of big hitters BMC have.

I'm not sure it was worth a new thread... except for the opportunity for the title!

Back on topic, it's good to see British riders in top teams other than just Sky (crucial to developing cycling at the top level though they are). Hopefully with the new crop of talented young riders coming through, there will be several others in the next couple of years who don't go the Sky route.

As or Cummings, he'll do pretty much what he did at Sky, I can't see BMC giving him a lot more freedom, but what a strong team they are looking like becoming right now...

True, the title was too good to miss.

I remember the fast bowler, Anderson Cummings being dropped for his home test match by the West Indies selectors and none of the locals went to the game, citing "No Cummings, no goings"
