I'm trying hard not to fall head over heals in lurve with this little lady...

...I'm torn between a 62cm and a bigger one.

I'm 6'4" and my bianchi c2c compact is a 61 frame . It has a 120 stem and lots of seatpost on display. I'm comfy on it but it looks small on me.

The cube sizing chart suggests I need a 64 ...but I have no way of comparing the bianchi size with the cube size...I mean are they like for like?? Suspect not.

I can't find a dealer close enough to test ride and even if I could I'd bet a lot of peanuts they won't have anything but midget sizes in stock.

I know its impossible to be accurate on info in this post but please five me your best guestimate and thoughts.

Ta very much

If its of any help to you, with the recommendations on here I bought this one yesterday (delivered next Sunday):

http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/p/14380/cube-peloton-race-compact-racing-road-bike-2014

I also looked at the GTC you have linked above (in the shop), the frame size I went for was 62cm (I'm 6ft 3.5/6ft 4) and it fit me perfectly in the shop, I'm pretty sure (someone correct me if I am wrong) that 62cm on the Peloton will be the same size as the GTC?

Its a nice bike and I was suitably impressed with it (the GTC) but unfortunately they didn't have my size as it was a sale bike.

Looking at the two specs the dont seem to be diectly comparable on just a 'frame sze' basis.

Looking at the top tube length between centre of steerer tube and seat post I THINK the bianchi 61cn frame has a 57.2 cm vs. the Cube 64cm frame at 57.4 reach.
I cant seem to get a comparable wheelbase length.

looking at the seat tube length the bianchi 61cm frame has a 58cm seat tube, the 64cm cube frame has a 60cm seat tube.....given my existing seat tube on the bianchi fully extended Im starting to think a cube 64 frame is nearer the mark......'why are these things never clear?" - Captain Jack Sparrow lol!

Thanks.

Looking at the charts the Agree has a slightly different geometry to the pelaton...the top tube is slightly longer so the reach is as well....

Im sure i could set either a 62 or a 64 agree up to be comfy to ride....I just dont wan tto much seat post, but then again I dont like the look of a massive head tube either...my galaxy is a 64cm frame and that got me across the states....but the geometry is again different to both the bianchi....

anyone got a coin????

Doing some maths on the Bianchi dimensions, the wheelbase comes out at 1012mm on their 61cm frame. The Cube is just a tad shorter at 1008mm (62cm frame)

The 62cm will have a larger drop between seat and handlebars , personally if I am between sizes I go up the way for less drop .

the cube 64cm fram has a 1018 mm wheelbase,,,,so im thnking it needs to be no shorter than the bianchi.......erm...so its looking closer to a 64 than a 62 frame i think for me.......
