Cube Attempt 2011

I was looking at the description of the Cube Attempt 2011 and noticed that it has Schwalbe Ultremo ZX tyres which are really nice (and expensive). But in all of the photographs I have seen of the bike they have only the Ultremo R tyres which are still nice but less than a third of the price to buy new. Either the description or the photos are wrong!

Can any Attempt owners or people who have seen the bike confirm which tyres it has?

I have a GTC SL and that came supplied with ZX tyres.

I have Agree GTC race....also with ZX tyres. AS tony the tiger would say, "they're greeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaat"

Strange, the pictures for the Agree bikes show the Ultremo R tyres too. Maybe they just didn't have any ZXs in on the day they did the photos, or maybe they changed the spec at the last minute. I guess the Attempt will come with the ZX tyres as well then.

Just in case anyone finds this via Google or whatever, it does come with Ultremo ZX tyres. Really nice!

On the subject of the ZX tyres, I recently took my bike in for its 'check up' and expressed a concern over the fact that the tyres on the bike were splitting on the sidewalls. The guys at the lbs were quite surprised at how they had appeared to have signs of perishing (bearing in mind the bike was only about 4 months old). They contacted Cube who quickly supplied a brand new set for me
I don't think it is an issue with the tyres in general, but more a one off. Great service from Cube though..
