Bike Radar gave it excellent reviews and it has amazing specs for the money. I was very close to ordering........just 1 thing put me off......at my age and having a dodgy back it was a little bit 'racy' geometry-wise so I went the pure sportive route.
It's a great bike and well specced with Shimano Ultegra components.
I have the 2010 Cube Agree GTC Pro and love it! The pro is the model below the race. This year the Pro and Race have swapped colours so the race is the same colour as my 2010 Pro.
Another point to bear in mind.....they are like gold dust right now as Cube have run out of Japanese components in Germany and wont have any bikes of certain models until end April.
I read on one forum that this bike is actually the 2011 Agree GTC Race frame, not the same as the other Agree 2012 bikes. In some ways it is good news because it proves that Cube aren't using an Open Mold frame (some forums had suggetsed that they were) and are developing it themselves. I suppose by using up left over frames from last year allows them to keep the cost down for an entry level carbon bike.
Any thoughts on it? I can't really stretch to the 2012 Agree GTC Race or other carbon bikes around the £1,500 mark e.g. Trek Madone 3.1, Spec. Tarmac etc. Felt Z6 is possible, Tiagra groupset though.
However, I visited a Cube reseller last week who said that Cube are now completely out of stock of all Peloton and Agree bikes in the 61cm frame. I would have to wait until September/October for the 2013 models. Pretty hopeless IMHO, to have sold out of 2012 bikes by early April.
Despite initially not wanting to buy another bike from an American manufacturer, its now looking extremely likely that I do so.
I have too have the Cube Agree GTC 2012, yes it does indeed have GTC Race 2011 frame which IMHO is a bonus. I find the bike superb VFM, and fantastic ride.
