I bought the cube agree GTC race one month ago and I am completely satisfied. Great bike, light, responsive, comfortable. I'm going out with the cube every opportunity I have.

I upgraded from a aluminium cannondale with a shimano 105 group, and the difference is impressive for me. However I'm not precisely a pro and I bike daily only on summer vacation.

It took me about three months moving from store to store before I decided to buy the cube, but for now I think it was a great buy.

I'll answer specific questions if you wish, and I'll send a pic of the cube later.

hi

my cube gtc race ( 62" frame) should arrive in two weeks time (cant wait).
this will be my 1st road bike for many years.
i chose the cube because of its good spec in its price range and also it looks great.

jrbadia, whats the longest ride on the cube have you done and was it comfortable.

Hi Mr. gooner.

The longest ride has been obout 60km, not much. I look forward to summer vacations in the pyrenees, and a lot of biking ! For the moment my impression is that it really is a comfortable bike. It is soft and virtually soundless. I even seem to climb better, but obviously its just "psychology". The bike as it came was a little to agressive for me so for the moment I changed sides of the power to get a 1-2 cm higher position of the handlebar. By the way the handlebar is great, it really fells safe downslope.

I am 185cm tall and my frame is a 58 which is just fitting me very nice. For the moment only abut 400km, just geting in better shape.

I will try to upload a pic, but I am not sure about how to do it.

Do not hesitate to ask any questions, if I can help

Hi, I've no experience of cube other than just having googled it and I have to agree its a great looking bike ;-)

Its got a 34/50 compact, personally I find that's too big a jump and a little underpowered when it comes to downhills but other than that it looks a quality bike and as jrbadia found it will climb good :-)

jrbadia, thanks for your comments.

i ordered my cube agree gtc race from cycles uk and i have just been told there is a delay on my bike for the second time.
when i first ordered they said 2 and a half weeks. at the end of this time they said there has been a delay with production and that it will be another 2 and abit weeks. and now they have said the same that there has been a delay in production and it will possibly be another 2 weeks. im gutted and have now cancelled my order.
cube are trying to tap into the uk market but this is a big negative for them.
also p....d off bigtime with cycles uk. surely either cube inform them of delays or cycles uk check that orders will arrive on time. they wait until the day the customer (who is expecting his shiny new bike) to contact them before they chase the order and then to be told the bad news, shocking.

I think it disgusting of cycles uk to treat customers like that, it's just not on. They must be selling plenty of bikes to not have to worry about the odd punter pulling out of a deal.

If I were you Gooner, I would go elsewhere to maybe a smaller family type outlet where they respect your custom and sod the like of cycles uk.
