just a quick question (properly a really stupid one lol) but i am going to ask anyway.

how many of you have joined the ctc membership?
and i would be assuming it would be the safest bet for me to do so too i assume?

I am a life member of the CTC, so I may be a bit biased, but you can't go wrong by joining.
Nearly every area have organised rides that you can go on, with lots of experienced & helpful people to guide you & teach you all about cycling efficiently & safely.
If you want to learn to do your own repairs, likely someone will show you as well, you just have to ask.
