yeah i do (or did) - i run 30 miles a week and commute 12 miles a day, usually for 3-4 days a week

i say "did" because i'm currently suffering with ITBS so i can't run

I run 2 lunchtimes (10 miles) a week and cycle commute 5 days (120 miles).

I may, if I can be inspired, to run on a weekend.

I was a runner long before I took up cycling and I found that they complement each other well. In fact, I've become a better runner in the last couple of years than I was before.

Stronger legs and improved cardio helped me develop a more efficient running technique.

Can't run – I virtually fall over if I try. Partly why I found cycling so good – an exercise I enjoy and can do. Do go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and do cardio stuff.

ran (slowly) 5km cross country on sunday then went home climbed on a bike and rode 33km with a mate, had a little rest and some tea and cake, rode another 33km home much faster on my own.

the run was far and away the hardest part, but I think I like it.

Yes, at the moment I run 10k twice a week and 20k+ once a week, plus swimming 2.5km twice a week (plus training session), in addition to the cycling. But then again, I am training for a stupendously stupid triathalon event (36 hours non-stop). I don't know if it's helping my cycling much, but I was the first man home in a 10k running race on Sunday... and I am probably fitter than I have been for several years.

I also run ten miles a week and cycle 120 miles. I was a runner long before I took up jogging and I found that they complement each other well. In fact, I have become a better runner in the last couple of years than I was before.

Now up to 5km three times a week (28 mins pace so not fast) plus the usual 40km round trip commute four days a week and a longer ride at the weekend. All good so far. As the running tends to be at a higher HR than the cycling it seems to be improving my climbing quite a bit.
