Creeking Front.

Hi there,

I have a Giant Defy 3 road bike and recently it has been making a creeking sound at the front when I turn etc. I tightened up the screws on the front and under brake level covers etc. but it is still making this noise.

What should I do?

Maybe take it to the bike shop.

The creaking sound on mine was coming from the front but it was being generated by that post shim.

Otherwise, I had another creak on my SCR that I cured by taking the bars off, coppaslipping the clamp and bolts, and refixing.

Grease around the cable-stops on the head tube, these often get creaky on my TCR, especially when turning.
