I've just ordered a Cree XML-T6 light from Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cree-XML-...rch-Head-Cycle-Lights-Headlight-/200855315142).

I also ordered two Phaart Bleep lights (http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/LIPHBPDRL/phaart_bleep_dual_05_watt_led_rear_light) from Planet X.

Does anyone have any experience of any of these lights? I'll be sure to post a review up when I get them. As for the Cree light, it says that the battery pack isn't waterproof so how do you deal with that when riding in the rain?

The Phart ones are good but the band mount on mine disintegrated after a week. Light is still working fine though.

The Phaart lights look similar to the RSP Astrum, have you tried to source a bracket for one of those?

Mine is the Phaart Booster. I probably have a spare band mount of another light that would do, but it acts as a good clip on for my jacket as a back up to the Smart I use as my main rear. At £2.50 you can't go wrong. ^_^

Phaart lights are good a smear of grease/vaseline really
I do the same and have wrapped black tape around the seal just in case...also bought a Cree light but have yet to try it due to the weather. Would be good to hear someone else's experiences with it...

They are easily bright enough, whether you'd want it to be the light you rely on is another matter, they are not cheap for nothing.
Having said that I really like mine, but have another bright light as back-up (Moon 500)

Hmm. I've got a BikeHut light as a backup, the only reason I ordered this light is because my other light bracket snapped and the lights aren't really very good for dark country roads.
