Have you guys got any advice for getting rid of creaks from a bike? Mine creaks when I'm out of the saddle but is fine normally spinning along so there's obviously something flexing a bit?

What's a good logical approach to this?

All the nuts and bolts are tight so I'm a bit stumped as to where it's coming from...

Could be anything really!
Have you checked the BB & pedals? including greasing the pedal threads?

As above really. The BB is the likely culprit, if it's only "one sided" then try the pedals, crank fixing and chainring bolts. If it's the frame you really do have a major problem.

Clean and grease your seat post too. I doubt this is the cause in your case with it only happening out of the saddle, but it's often proved to be the problem many times before so it's worth making part of your maintenance routine

+1 test everything, could even be a bit of grit in the pedals/seatpost/cranks etc .Ensure that all bolts are tight.
I had a creak for months till i checked the chainring bolts.

Worst case scenario, but extremely easy to check for, upturn the bike and look at the welds around the BB for cracks. One of my previous bikes had a creak, particually when out of the saddle. I couldnt identify the source for ages, until i upturned the bike one day while cleaning it...then it instantly became apparent :ohmy:
