Crappy BMI

I am currently sat in terminal 1 awaiting a flight to Cairo. I booked the flight with egyptair but for some reason BMI are operating the flight. I checked a few days ago about taking my bike. No problems I was told. Arrived at check in and I had to pay £75 in excess weight to take the bike.

that's a bit crap... I hate it when I'm told one thing by one person then told that the info i'd been given is wrong... really does my head in.
