crank click

hello!

ive noticed a couple of days ago a kind of "click" on my crank
its in the right side

and it click when im pedaling

about 45º after the top ....exacly when I push the pedal down
and if i apply more force it click twice

what it could be?

i have a dawes super galaxy

The most likely cause is a loose or worn pedal. If it's not that it could be a loose/worn crank, loose chain ring or loose bottom bracket.

Could be a loose crank. If it is, you need to tighten the crank before riding the bike again, although the crank might have been damaged already. Carrying on using a loose crank will further damage it.

Ideally, the crank should be removed, checked and refitted to the correct torque.
