Heres an odd tale of my ride today ..
Went out maybe 2-3 hours after lunch which consisted of peanut butter cobs , bannanas and a muller rice .
I was drinking regularly so i discount hydration but the stuff i was drinking was a mixture of a low cal lucozade sport drink with some glucose powder sports stuff.
After 20 miles i got a bit of cramp in my calves which although niggly did not slow me down.
After 25 miles i had to stop at the side of the road as my guts felt like they were going to barf and i had really bad stomach ache and "wind"
Managed to soft pedal home where a big dose of gaviscon calmed it down.
Were the food and drink linked to cramp or is that just a side affect from relaying slabs ? and was my concoction tho blame for my stomach ache?
