On my way home from work today i got a puncture, set about changing the tube (which i knew would be a nightmare with my vittoria zaffiros) and i noticed that the sidewalls on the rear had quite a bit of cracking on them. Now they are only 3 months old (came on the boardman)
Am i correct in thinking that cracking on tyres is a bad sign?
So i am considering buying a pair of new tyres.
Brief:-
I commute to work and tend to go for a ride at the weekend, looking for something with decent puncture protection but also low rolling resistance. Also something that may be a bit easier to get on and off the rims.
Any ideas?
