Can you see a crack anywhere?

When does it creak? Only when pedaling, only when sitting on the saddle, only when climbing a steep hill etc? There's a lot things it could be other than a cracked frame.

I just fixed a loud creak on my Peugeot. It turned out to be dry metal on metal contact in the bar/stem area.

Grab the seat at the tip and the rear and give it a good wiggle. Can you see any movement from the rails to the seat itself? If you can hear the noise from this alone then the seat is the issue and showing early signs of wear.
After this i'd try the above mentioned advice RE removing seatpost and applying some carbon paste just incase there is slight slippage.

My CX bike had a similar squeek type noise and it turned out to be the saddle and the rails misbehaving. New saddle sorted it.
So many variables but it's a start.

Believe it or not I was convinced that the creaking noise I was hearing from my bike a while back was coming from the Bottom Bracket, when in fact it was from the headset. Removed the top cap, cleaned out the grit, re-greased and hey presto the creaking was gone.

Ive seen it from both sides...creaks and cracks...and why or what ?
I had a nasty full blooded 'crack' noise when I went over a bump on my then new full carbon forked bianchi. I became semi convinced the fork was faulty and got paranoid about it. Visit the LBS and he took two minutes look at it...yep, no problem, adjusted the headset...problem solved.
Never had seatposts etc causing creaks (not that bothered me anyway)...but I did have a cracking type creak on my 2 year old Bianchi (not the one above, the one before that) when I got out the saddle and yomped up hills. It went on for several weeks, I couldn't find anything with the usual visual checks. Then one day I was servicing/deep cleaning the bike and turned it upside down...:ohmy:..Kin ell, there was a whacking great crack where the downtube met the BB, possibly 30 to 50% of the way round the downtube, but underneath...that's why I hadn't seen it.
But as my dad says, you always imagine its going to be the worst case scenario ..it rarely ever is, its usually something simple.

Have a look at THIS site, it might help.

Very unlikely a cracked frame. Its been said above, and its nearly always something not tight or not greased enough. Carbon frames make the noise worse.

In between here and there
The Boardman CX when you bought it had loads of problems with the BB30 Bottom bracket, that is where I would start. Whoops didn't get as far as seeing the BB had been replaced.
