That article is 15 years old. If feeding cows garlic reduced greenhouse gasses then they would have done it by now.

Maybe it would flavour the meat and save you adding it later.

Maybe they should be feeding them seaweed instead. An 18% reduction in methane output!

Mind you, it's worked for me ... I have upped my garlic consumption by about 68.5% since then, and I fart an awful lot less
