Funnily enough I had the same experience today. Yummy!

Actually I stopped and flipped the lid off to drink!

Halfords do bottles with a flip-top lid to avoid this sort of contamination. A great boon for me a I cycle a fair mileage through sheep territory!

How do you hit a cow, they're pretty big and I would of thought easy to spot and avoid plus they tend to run away

I was riding down a particularly _hitty track at the weekend and got a puncture. Trying to change an inner tube when your tyre is covered in horse _hit and a bit of dog _hit is not fun.

If you have two bottles stop and rinse cow slurry off your bottle top. All kinds of nasties lurking in there. Im sure I must have ingested plenty though without any obvious problems.

I thought this thread was going to be about a hapless cyclist colliding with an easily avoidable large obstruction - a cow and getting stuck in it's behind. I was preparing to LoL even to LMAO. Oh well, you deserve a pat on the back.
