can any of you learned chaps tell me anything about the said bike, just bought one second hand for son in law, £10 . needs a little work but i'm hoping it's an ok buy thanks- hastings n back monday if its ok

For a tenner you can't really go wrong, I'd say. I paid £40 for mine and it works. But if you want a more detailed response from an expert (someone who is not me), do you know roughly when it was made? At some point in the early 80s, iirc, they got bought out and the general quality went down under the new owners.

been out today, with son in law on the coventry eagle, just changed a tube and tightened up the seat, and theres another one i've got into cycling who can already beat me hands down! but then he is a soldier lol a bargain me thinks
