Usually I make do with cheaper brands, like sports direct.
But I have been looking for some proper winter gear, and although its usually easy enough to find the manufactures size guides, it would be usefull if there were a database of what kit people use so you could PM them for an honest opinion of it, but also if the manufactures sizing charts are reliable, or need to be adjusted and get larger or smaller than the manufactures suggest.
