I’ve damaged my SRAM Force 22 hydro calliper beyond repair. I have a few quick questions before I try to find a shop to replace it:

1. Will a shop be able to replace the calliper without having to replace the lever as well?

2. What price am I looking at for a like for like replacement? It’s the front brake.

Thanks

Yep, easy enough to buy a single caliper and replace it.

I replaced my SRAM Rival calipers after the seals blew and I couldn't source replacement seals. I actually upgraded them to Hope brake calipers which work perfectly with the original SRAM brake levers.

Just have a quick google and see. Here in Germany I could pick up a Force 22 caliper for €83.99.

I’ve seen the ones online but I’m very cack handed at brakes and gears so want to get a shop to do it. Really need an idea of what a LBS would charge for supply and fitting.

Ask them. Most will charge RRP for the part, so I would buy online and then get the shop to fit (they might charge a small surcharge if you supply the caliper but it'll still be cheaper if you can get a decent discount on the part)

Is it just the case of swapping the calliper out or will I need new inserts to connect the calliper to the hose as well?
