Great I'll text his dad, he's over there too. One gripe he has with the Irish organisers is that the teams are being flown home on Sunday morning and won't get a chance to watch the elite race :-(
They've tried to rearrange transport for themselves but to no avail. No money in Irish cycling it seems, no bikes either...he's using his Sunday run bike!
He rides for Crabbe during the season, a team in Belgium and is returning next season to join their U23 squad.

I met with Rory on the Saturday,Jack rode a good race but was held up by a crash!!!Thats a shame he didnt get to see the Elite race.we had a fantastic weekend, back home shattered!!! My Son Oliver loved it (he is 10) managed to get 6 or 7 team bottles and bag fulls of freebies.plus he met and got autographs from Chris Boardman & Andrei Tchmil
