When did Coo Nay Go become Coony Go for David Harmon and which is correct?
I always thought it was the first one.
From recollection of the Italian commentators' usage, I think it is COO-nay-go, not coo-NAY-go.
He was calling Davide Viganò
David Vignano the other day. And he always calls Quinziato
KEEN-zee-ah-to instead of
KWEEN-tsee-ah-to. Although these examples pale into insignificance compared to him saying the
cime in
Tre Cime di Lavaredo last year as
KEE-mee instead of
CHEE-may.
