Convert triple to compact double issues

Hi

i have got a Trek pilot 1 roadbike with 9 gear triple cog that i want to convert to Shimano 10 Spd Ultegra 6700 Cassette 12-25 with Shimano Ultegra Dbl 6750 10 Chainset Compact 170 34/50 . I have ordered the kit plus front and rear gear .

My question is do i have to buy new shifters as well because i am changing from triple 9 to double 10. i was hoping i could use the existing

I think the answer will be 'yes'. The triple to double mightn't be a problem but 9 to 10 could be.
