Hi, first of all thanks for this forum. I need to replace my inner tube for the first time. On the wheel it says 28x15/8 x 11/4
700 x 32 C however it has been a real pain to locate one that I can replace it with. Does the new have to have exact specs (exxept the wheel size to fit) or approx. sizes would do? Do you know a place where I can get one?
Thanks a million

Hi and welcome. 700x32 c is the width and size to look for.

Most tubes cover a range of sizes, so you're looking for:
  • The range of widths that covers 32mm (Specialized tubes come in 700 x 20-28 and 700 x 28-38 so you'd need the latter)
  • The right valve type (Schrader are the car-type ones, Presta the skinnier ones, with the little lock-nut no the top - just match whatever's on there)
  • The right valve length (Presta valves come in a range of lengths in order to fit deeper-section wheels)

And welcome

Welcome to the forum.
In addition to @Specialeyes' useful post you're looking for the right diameter of tube: in this case as @Cubist says: 700c (622 in ETRTO speak).
28 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 = Northern European designation for the 622 mm (700 C) size
For background understanding one can do little better than read Sheldon on the subject:

Thank you!
