I have a Fratello Disc and it's gorgeous. Rides superbly and would recommend it to anyone.

I have their Tempo, which I understand to be the same frame configured as a fixie. I have done maybe 12 to 15000 miles on it andhave been delighted with it. It feels great to ride, though whether that's a magic steel feel or just because it's a perfect fit and set up - the latter also down to Condor.

Dunno if there are cheaper options for pretty much the same, but I'm delighted with mine

Did you both opt for the custom colour choice ?

Really ? Wow, I'm surprised at that from Condor but good to know

I do have a couple of paint chips on mine. For what it's worth, I think it quite a nice paint job, and just accept that paint does chip; that's just how it is if you actually use a bike. Maybe powder coating is a bit more robust, but paint is paint at the end of the day.

By custom I mean choosing g your frame colour in shop

It wasn't an extra cost blingtastic option, just one of choices on the list. Can't remember whether they did extra cost pimp-my-ride paint jobs - some of the bespoke / semi-bespoke shops certainly offer that.

Oh no I'm not into bling, not down with the kids in any way. Yes just the options in the list

Yes its a tourer.
Another thing to bear in mind is that if you get it from Condor built up they charge top wack for each of the components. It would most likley be cheaper to build it up yourself or get all the parts and get it built by the local bike shop.

They did build mine up rather well, and there was a so-say discount for buying a complete bike, even if the bits themselves were full price. Doubt you'd really save much by pick-n-mixing it unless you've lots of the parts already in your shed

So an excellent long distance Audax bike ?

I borrowed a Fratello Disc last year and did a fairly lumpy 300km audax on it. There's no doubt it's very well suited to the purpose, very comfortable and shifts along nicely. Definitely a good choice if that's the kind of riding you're into.

Only real down side is that they aren't the lightest bikes, but they're not that heavy by steel standards, and I probably only felt the extra weight because I was out of condition and it was pretty rotten weather (ie I would have felt a bit sluggish even on a very light bike that day).
