Er, if you Google for "boardman bike computer manual" the first search result is a page on the Halfords website which has links to downloadable manuals!

Just bosh it on and watch how fast it says you are traveling.
If it say's faster than you think - congrats you're an everyday chris froome,
if it looks slow - there's an issue with the comp
