Compression Tights?

I'm thinking of buying and sleeping in these-

Do they really help recovery?

I dont know if those do all they claim, however I can report than since I have been riding wearing compression socks for my varicose viens (nice) I have found my lower legs feel better and I have more power in my legs on the 'up pull back'...i still have the veins though!
