Hello and good day fellow cyclist.
Quick question: I've recently purchased a pack of inner tubes:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01AK82VQM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My tires are 40x466 700x38c and I'm not so sure the two are actually compatible as I first thought.
The box claim it can fit a 700x38c but it says is a 38x466 (discovered only at arrival), not a 40x466 as I imagined and the valve it's smaller too.
Can I actually use it? suggestions?
Thank you for your time.
Kind regards,
Mattia

The tubes themselves will fit OK but the valve might preclude that. A Schrader valve is bigger so i can only conclude they have sent you woods valves (narrow at the top but wider at the bottom) which won't go through the valve holes in the rim. I'm assuming the presta valves in the pic are correct? If this is the case send them back.

Hi, I think the valve will fit the rim if anything will be a bit loose.
I'll give it a try if the tubes are ok, my worries were base on the fact that on the actual tube it's written 700x35c and 37x466 and since you can see that they are smaller than the original one I thought they weren't compatible, despite the box says otherwise.
Thank you again for reassure me.

Just intrigued as to what valve you have if its smaller than your original ones. Prestas are a standard size. The small discrepancy in the width won't be a problem.
